The Hidden Rootways is a nature-inspired learning game that blends storytelling, strategy, movement, and plant science into a calm, engaging adventure for children.

As players travel through hidden root networks, winding stems, and growing leaves, they begin to understand how water moves through plants and why every drop plays a vital role in helping plants survive and grow.

🎲 How it works

Players guide their water droplet along the Rootways, travelling from the underground roots to the leafy canopy. Along the path, learners draw cards that reveal plant discoveries, environmental challenges, or helpful water boosts.

Leaf spaces bring learning discoveries and actions, while other spaces present obstacles that affect the droplet’s journey. Each game encourages observation, discussion, and thoughtful play rather than fast-paced competition.

The goal: carefully navigate the plant’s pathways and reach the canopy by understanding how water supports the plant along the way.
